Born and raised in Mobile, Alabama, Randall Wheeler has dedicated his life to protecting and serving his community. A 2004 graduate of Lillie B. Williamson High School, Randall’s passion for law enforcement and security began with his time on Dog the Bounty Hunter, where he assisted in tracking down criminals in Mobile County. His work led to collaborations with multiple agencies, including the Mobile Police Department, Prichard Police Department, Mobile County Sheriff’s Office, and the U.S. Marshals Service. His expertise and dedication even earned him several appearances on The First 48, solidifying his reputation as a trusted force in security operations.
Fueled by this experience, Randall founded Coastal Security Taskforce on September 16, 2016, with a mission to provide top-tier security solutions to businesses and communities. What started as a five-man crew has since grown into a thriving team of 15 full-time and over 40 part-time employees. His "why" has always been clear—helping people through some of the most difficult moments in their lives. Having grown up in a single-parent home, Randall witnessed firsthand the challenges that come with limited resources and opportunities. This inspired him to not only build a business but to actively give back through community initiatives, mentorship, and advocacy.
Randall’s leadership and service have not gone unnoticed. He has been a two-time nominee at The Grind Awards, earning recognition for the Highest Service Award and the Pinnacle Award. His work extends beyond security—he has been deeply involved in local organizations, including:
Through his work, Randall continues to be a beacon of light in challenging situations, leading with integrity, dedication, and a passion for protecting the community he calls home.
